May update...take 3

These pictures are double, quadrupled, I DON'T CARE. I have tried to do this month like 4 times. Things keep getting deleted.

Here goes. May update! Geez....I am so far behind. May was a super busy month. The boys got new bikes. Veronica had her surgery. We had soccer. We had birthday parties.

So. Aidan had his birthday party on the 14th of May. It was good. I was rather impressed on my birthday cake this year. It was Mario...of course. But I think it turned out great!

Aidan was in the bike-a-thon again this year. He got a new bike. Aidan and Nate actually have matching bikes now. I find it rather cute.

Veronica on the day of surgery. For those that didn't know. Veronica had a thyro-glossal duct cyst...or so we thought. Once they went in they found it was a Brachial Cleft cyst. I said...what does that mean? He said...Nothing now.

I think Veronica looks JUST LIKE one of the flowers in Alice in Wonderland in her polka dot hat.

Soccer is going well. Nate actually played a few games. Not well...but he actually ran on the field and kicked it once!

Aidan started karate. he REALLY likes it. I think because he gets to kick and hit stuff and we can't yell at him. We really like it because the instructor teaches what to do in different situations as well. Like what do when if you see a gun, if someone offers you drugs, if a stranger tries to take you.

The picture of V in the bathing suit is about a week after her surgery. The incision was much larger then we expected. Oh well. Hopefully it will heal well.

If you have any questions about something...just ask and I promise not to have the net months looking so stupid.

Sigh...April update

Wow. I am SO far behind. Here is my attempt at updating the blog. These are pictures from April.

As you can see the Mario obsession continues. I swear. Some days if I have to hear the word Mario one more time I might go insane.

Veronica turned 4 months old. She is getting to be SO big. I can't believe that my baby is almost 1/2 a year old. I can't believe it has gone by so fast!

We went up to WV. Eric's Grandma turned 80years old. We finally got to introduce her to everyone on Eric's moms side. She was really excited to finally meet her. We met up with Uncle Chris and he was on kid duty at one point. We started the morning with a soccer game, Nate's first, and drove up afterwards. Poor Nate. He ate WAY to many cake balls and ended up throwing up all over the table and floor at the party. Luckily we came prepared with pj's. Did it stop him though? Nope. He still ran around like a crazy kid!

Aidan has the same soccer coach from last year and really enjoys it. Nate, not so much. I think he preferred to be thrown around. He is on the same team as Aidan so that works out well. One practice time and one game time. Next season Aidan will be in the next age group. Lots more traveling to do!

Aidan learned to swing on his own! We bought a swingset for the backyard. We have to start him, but after that he can pump his legs and swing all by himself! Saves me some arm work! I need to get Veronica a swing for the backyard as well. I am sure she would love it. The question though is where to hang it.

I really love our street. There was a joint Easter egg hunt up and down the road. It was fun! There were about 7 houses, lots of food, candy, music, dancing. It is so nice to live on a street with other kids!

Well....down below are a gagillion photos from the past month. Sigh...I need to get better at this. Maybe weekly updates!

When a 3year old says no, you should listen!

We don't typically get the boys hair cut on a regular basis. Well, we do, but it is every few months. Today was that day. We thought that if we bribed with the promise of ice cream, it wouldn't be a challenge. Boy howdy were we wrong!

Nate flipped OUT! We should have known that when he stopped dead in his tracks at the door of the salon it wouldn't be a fun time. We had to push him into the place. It was raining and I didn't feel like getting V and I soaked.

Then the screaming began. It was a children's salon, t.v.'s, video games, cartoons, movies. Did any of that keep him occupied? NOPE.

Poor Eric literally had to restrain him in the chair. It has a buckle on it, but Nate was pushing back so hard we were scared he would push the chair over and he almost did! I am truly shocked that he doesn't have bruises on his arms. He didn't start freaking out until the cut had begun, so that is why we continued with it.

So after he went insane and acted possessed for a while, he was fine. He was done, breathing heavy and the stylist said "What do you want? A cookie? A lollipop? A toy?"

Nate's response "ICE CREAM!" "Vanilla" (all said while panting and trying to catch his breath)

At least we are done for the next couple of months! Maybe one day he will sit still long enough to get a normal haircut.

My blogging abilities, or lack there of.

So. It has been pointed out that I have not updated this since October of last year.

OOPS.

Like I said i stink at this, but I plan on getting better here...maybe.

Since the last time I wrote, we now have three kiddos, hence the name change. The boys really accept her nicely. We never had that whole "I don't want her phase." Nate is slightly obsessed with her. Every time I have her or he sees her he runs up and says "Baby Veronica ok?" It is cute, but tiring always answering the same question.

This is how it goes:
N: "Baby Veronica ok?"
Me: "Yes, Nate. She is ok."
N: "Oh."

Then there is the issue of her eating. She is breastfed. Neither boy EVER took a bottle, so I decided not to push the issue with her. Well, honestly, I never even tried. Just one year out of my life. I am around anyway, so why not?

According to Aidan though the brown thing on my tummy is gross. Lovely huh? Way to make you feel good! And Nate knows that "Baby Veronica eat baby food"

But today we had a Cheese-it issue. Nate shoved one in her mouth, Baby Veronica does not like cheese-its. Thanks Nate.

So from this day forward I vow to update this blog on a semi regular basis.

My kids are pretty darn cool and everyone needs to know this!

Umm. Seriously. April??

See. I am totally not good at this whole blogging thing. I kind of stink. I have work and two kiddos. I am not sure why I figured i could keep up with this silly thing.
Anywho.

Let's see...you know I am pregnant. But what you don't know is it is a girl! Woo hoo! Go us! So excited. I finally get to have pink and purple in my world. We jsut finished decorating the nursery with butterfly decals. It is rather cute if I do say so myself. I will have to post pictures once we finally clean the room up.

Anyway. I have no idea what to say since it has been so long. So I think this one shall be super short and I will just have to start fresh from here.
